Friendship House is a residential Halfway House with a program designed to lead each individual into asserting his new found belief in self and develop a foundation for living an independent alcohol and drug free life style. It has a home like atmosphere which offers the individual support for achieving worth and dignity in knowing that he is responsible for his own recovery

Adult individuals must have a primary diagnosis of Substance Abuse Dependency. Be referred from an inpatient treatment facility, provide a physical examination and be alcohol and drug free.
Variable length of stay from 4 months to 12 months based on need.

Individual treatment plan. Group Counseling, Family Counseling, Individual Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Positive Parenting Classes, and referral to outside community agencies for social services, vocational rehabilitation, medical services and GED.
Individuals are required to attend 7 AA/NA meeting per week. After a three week period individual are allowed to work. Individual must attend all in house meetings (Community Meeting, Individual Counseling, and Group). Individuals must remain alcohol and drug free through entire length of stay for a successful completion. Successful completion is 4-6 months, have a job and be active in a 12 Step Program with a sponsor.
