Mann House is an extended care treatment facility that specializes in the chronic male relapser, that individual with multiple treatment experiences. Mann House has been operating in Harford County for 30 years. We are licensed and certified by the State of Maryland. We ask a six month commitment from a client, but they can stay up to one year. This is structured living and our treatment plans revolve around relapse prevention and 12 Step involvement.

More than one prior 28 day, inpatient treatment episode, multiple intensive outpatient admission will be considered. Client needs to be fully detoxed, preferably 30 days, but will consider less. Client should have some knowledge of the disease process, as well as the relapse process and knowledge of 12 Step programs.
We ask for a minimum stay of six months. A client can stay up to a year.
13 adult males
Individual counseling and treatment plans, two group counseling sessions per week, relapse prevention counseling, family counseling, employment and education training, budget planning, re-socializing skills, nutritional moderating, GED preparation/private tutor.
Clients must be male, 18 years or older, with a primary diagnosis of alcoholism or chemical dependency. Client must be able to work 40 hours per week. Generally, clients are referred from treatment and would be interviewed while in treatment. No client will be admitted without a face to face interview.
